Why I walk this path.
A journey of remembering, reimagining,
and raising the next generation with reverence.
I believe children come into the world whole.
They are not blank slates to be filled, but souls to be witnessed, honored, and supported as they remember who they are. Our role is to protect their essence, not program it.
I believe there is another way — softer, slower, and more sacred.
A way that honors intuition over instruction, connection over control, presence over perfection. A way that uplifts the nervous system, restores the wonder, and brings us home to each other.
I believe the parent is the portal.
When we tend to our own healing — our triggers, our stories, our nervous systems — we open the door for our children to grow in freedom, not fear. Our self-regulation becomes their safe haven.
Hi, I'm Heather.
Founder of Wellness Matters & Another Way for Them
Hi, I’m Heather Caroccio — a guide, health coach, and author devoted to creating lasting change from the inside out.
Through my work with Wellness Matters, I help others embrace holistic practices that nourish the mind, body, and spirit. My greatest joy is supporting people as they become the highest, most aligned version of themselves — not through pressure or perfection, but through presence and care.
Another Way for Them was born from this same vision, but with an even deeper call — to reimagine the way we raise, educate, and walk alongside the next generation. With over two decades of experience, I blend grounded compassion with innovative tools to create a space where parents, educators, and children can feel seen, supported, and whole.
At my core, I believe wellness isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity. When we tend to our own well-being, we become the safe, steady presence our children — and our world — are asking for.

THIS IS MY STORY.
Â
Parents today are craving more peace, connection, and support — not just for their children, but for themselves. Heather’s work helps families create more harmonious households by strengthening the parent-child relationship at its core. She offers practical tools to prevent emotional meltdowns before they start — and to navigate them with presence and grace when they do. Through her programs and community, parents find others walking a similar path, forming new relationships rooted in empathy and shared growth. Both parents and children learn to regulate their nervous systems, incorporate mindfulness into daily life, and reclaim a sense of calm and confidence. In a world where anxiety is rising and school systems often overlook emotional intelligence, Heather provides the missing piece: conversations and courses that empower families to feel grounded, whole, and free to thrive.

MY APPROACH
Â
Healing the Root, Not Just the Symptoms
At Another Way for Them, I believe that when parents heal, children thrive.
I’ve seen firsthand how both parents and children are struggling — overwhelmed by big emotions, disconnected from each other, and unsure how to move forward. The truth is, there aren’t many resources that support both sides of the relationship. That’s where my work comes in.
I help parents become more emotionally attuned — learning to understand their own nervous systems so they can respond to their children with more clarity, compassion, and calm. When you begin to heal your own wounds, you stop unconsciously passing them down. You become the safe, grounded presence your child has always needed.
In turn, your child begins to feel more seen and understood. They experience fewer meltdowns and grow more confident in expressing themselves. They learn how to pause, feel, and process — building emotional intelligence that will support them for life.
This work isn’t about perfection. It’s about connection. It’s about learning new ways to be with yourself and your child — even in the hard moments.
On the other side of this?
More peace in your home. Stronger relationships. A life where your child feels safe to be exactly who they are — and you do too.
